Core Service Updates

Packages on the managed tier level are required to have core service updates provided through the control panel processed by the owner of the account. This simple procedure involves logging into the server control panel and clicking the button(s) to execute the updates. The list of these core services are as follows:
  • Apache
  • IIS
  • SQL Server (MySQL, MariaDB, etc.)
  • PHP
  • ASP.NET
  • Control Panel (cPanel, Plesk, etc.)
  • OS Kernel or Windows Critical and Security Updates

Three Seas Infologics administrators may process these updates for the owner using on-demand hours as requested by the owner. Should these services fall out of date and become security compromised or EOL (end-of-life), all managed assistance will result in on-demand hours consumption.
Our Fully Managed and Fully Managed Enterprise tiers include this upgrade service without any on-demand hours consumption. This offers the owner peace of mind that your services will be kept up to date by our team of expert administrators. If you wish to upgrade your account to one of these tiers, please contact our Data Center Infrastructure Sales team.
Support requests for software which has reached the end of its development cycle (EOL) will require an additional expenditure of admin hours to upgrade the software to a developer supported version.
